Hydromat
Description:
The Hydromat is of welded steel construction.The base contains the oil tank, hydraulic drive and control gears.The upper section contains the knife holders, main press and hydraulic pistons. The front knife runs on ball bearings. The side knives run in hardened double-column steel guides. A special feature of the machine is the optimal cutting angle of the knives which results in a constant cutting force and in extremely long service. The trimming table is made up of ground steel blocks. The square profile of the plastic cutting sticks ensures a max. trimming effect ( 4 sides ). The electrical switch gear, main connection and tool box are housed in a fully enclosed panel located under the working table.
Control
Central pre-selection switch for all operating methods.
Each step in the operation can be preformed independently in any sequence, e.g. book feed-in, book clamping and knife action. These operations can also be preformed in slow motion.
The cutting sequence can be pre-selected as follows:
- front knife before side knives
- side knives before front knife
- side knives cutting only (front knife remaining in rest position)
- front knife cutting only (side knives remaining in rest position)
